ApRHA EVENTS
| The ApRHA World Show Futurity |
| The annual ApRHA Futurity, held in conjunction with the Appaloosa World Championship Horse Show in Ft. Worth, TX offers total purse and prizes of over $50,000. The futurity is open to registered Appaloosa horses and offers both and Open, Intermediate Open, and Non-Pro Divisions. The futurity has steadily grown in purse size and entrants as recognition of the excellent payout has spread across the U.S. and Canada. Both the rider and the horse owner must be members of the ApRHA to enter this futurity. |
| The ApRHA Stallion Service Auction |
| Our annual Stallion Service Auction provides funding for cash prizes at the NRHA Derby, and Futurity. Breeders may bid on any of the stallions that have been generously added to our roster by their owners. All bids are 1/2 of the advertised stud fee. The savings are significant for the breeder and the stallion owner benefits from added publicity. A stallion roster and bid forms may be obtained from the ApRHA website or by calling the Stallion Auction Chairperson. |
| The ApRHA Youth Superstakes |
| Youth members of the ApRHA are encouraged to participate in the Youth Superstakes. This event is held in conjunction with the ApHC National Championship and Youth World Championship show in Oklahoma City, OK. In two age division, 13 & Under and 14-18, members compete for cash awards and prizes donated by our sponsors. Preceding the event, a youth social is held to give the competitors an opportunity to visit with each other and meet professional trainers. |
| The ApRHA Annual Raffle |
| Each year the ApRHA holds a cash raffle as a major source of funding for the Futurity. Raffle tickets are sold by members prior to the Futurity. The winning ticket holder receives a $5,000 cash prize and additional cash prizes are given to five other winners. Every ApRHA member is encouraged to sell at least three tickets. |
