Ft. Worth, TX – On Monday evening, June 24, at the Will Rogers Coliseum the 2013 ApHC National Show held the Hackamore Snafflebit Reining class. The class was well bred and the competition was fierce. By the end of the class, two horses were tied with the high scores of 214.5. – Regalo Del Cielo ridden by Terry Thompson (owner: Wade Smith) and Five Bars Of Silver ridden by Zane Haverty (owner: Liz Kincaid). The run offs seemed flawless, with no one in the stands being able to guess with any certainty of who was going to be awarded the National Championship. It truly was a “On the edge of your seat” moment for riders and owners of these fine Reining horses. Both professionals came prepared to win and ready to show their mounts to the best of their ability. When the booming announcer’s voice finally came through the speakers – Regalo Del Cielo was awarded the Reserve National Championship title with a 214 and crowned the 2013 National Champion in Hackamore Snafflebit Reining was # 323, Five Bars Of Silver, with a final score of 216!

Five Bars Of Silver is out of Hall of Fame mare, Ms High Five and sired by 4X World Cutting Champion, Gay Bars Silver.
