PURPOSE OF THE ApRHA
| From the By-Laws The association exists to promote and encourage the breeding and showing of Appaloosa reining horses, the development of standards of performance and judging for all reining horse contests sponsored or approved by the Appaloosa Reining Horse Association and to develop and distribute information to provide contestants and spectators a better understanding of proper reining horse performance in the show arena. Foreward The Appaloosa Reining Horse Association is an affiliate of both the Appaloosa Horse Club and the National Reining Horse Association. Members of the ApRHA are not required to hold membership in the ApHC unless they are participating in and ApHC sponsored event. Our annual membership meeting is held during the Appaloosa Horse Club World Championship Show in Ft Worth, TX. Plans are currently underway to expand the number of Appaloosa reining derbies and futurities across the country, as well as the added money and prizes at each event.
